He is a senior scientist at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hpc.rwth-aachen.de\">Chair for Computer Science 12 &#8211; High Performance Computing<\/a> and the Chief HPC Officer at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itc.rwth-aachen.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IT Center.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>His research interests center around Parallel Programming and related Software and Performance Engineering aspects. Dr. Terboven has been involved in the Analysis, Tuning and Parallelization of several large-scale simulation codes for various HPC architectures, and has published over 60 papers on this subject.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2006 he is a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openmp.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OpenMP <\/a>Language Committee.
